Hubbell’s SHC1023 is a straight male cord connector that is made of machined aluminum which provides a clean look. Some features included on the SHC1023 are the one-piece connector body design and tapered interior seats. The one-piece design with machined threads provides a strong positive seal, while the tapered interior seats the bushing evenly for a liquid-tight seal. Another feature of the SHC1023 is the GOTCHA® ring which incorporates a split hinge design that helps prevent friction and provides strain relief. It accepts a cord diameter of .38” to .5” and is color coded blue with a ½” HUB.

Hubbell nylon cord connectors have a UL94-V2 rating and are suitable for use in hazardous environments per Class I Div. 2, Class II Div. 1 and 2, and Class III Div. 1 and 2. The SHC1023 also has an effective operating temperature of -30 F to 225 F, is UL Listed in Accordance with standard 514B, CSA Certified, United States Coast Guard Approved, and meets Title 46-Part 111 standards. These ratings make it great for use in possible hazardous environments and in environments which require a liquid-tight seal.
