The FLUKE VT04 overlays a thermal image on top of a visual image, while the FLIR TG165 provides only a thermal image. While the FLUKE VT04 has the added benefit of a thermal image overlay, the FLIR TG165 offers a higher thermal resolution, which provides sharper, crisper images. The FLIR TG165 also offers a wider field of view, slightly better accuracy, as well as a wider temperature measurement range.
